Summer is in full swing, but seeing these makes me ready to layer up and get ready for the winter time. Def a fan black on black on black.

These were my fav. shoes at Mike Posner's Cooler Than Me video shoot from a couple of weeks ago... I can't remember if Mike ended up wearing 'em or not but I might have to.  More info via Complex here.

Maybe more of a winter look, regardless, these boots are cold as hell. And I'm sure any 10Deep x Timberland collaboration will be sure to make a splash. I def need a pair.

The's some pretty powerful content here. I'm a sucker for Americana, and seeing this video made me really appreciate the blue collar work ethic.

I don't know why more companies can't just be as consistent as Vans. Scratch that, to do anything right once is easy, it's the process of recreating that spark that makes it a little tougher. But Vans every season seems to make it look easy, and with Spring/Summer around the corner, I'm going to have to stock up on my favorite low-top's. Check em' out.

 

I've never been a huge fan of the shoe it self (always went more the Vans route) but Onitsuka Tiger consistently stunts when it comes to creative video promotions.  Last year their origami spot had to have been one of my favorite viral video's of the year . . . looking forward to the full version of this one.  Props.

I guess we can expect to see more hipsters on fixed gear wearing New Balance shoes.

Core77 drove out to check out the home base of the Alden Shoe Company in Middleborough, Massachusetts, the creators of the famed 405 boot (worn by Indiana Jones). The feature is kinda long, but if you have 12 minutes it's definitely worth checking out.

I'm not event going to pretend like I'm a soccer fan. My brand of football still comes with pads, helmets, and free safeties taking off the heads of wide receivers running over the middle. Maybe V8 will sponsor a vegetable! (Shouts to Daniel Tosh for that line).  But one thing I'm not mad at was the short lived trend (back when I was in 5th grade) of indoor soccer shoes.  Neat and simple, not to mention super comfortable.  While I remember rocking some Pumas back in the day, hummel a Danish brand is looking to revive the look.  Making me look forward to Spring 2010.

I guess it's about time that this happened.  Timberland now has a "Create Your Own" feature on their website.  I have actually been contemplating getting a pair for the winter, maybe my custom dF pair is just the trick to get me to purchase . . . we'll see.
