Mike Posner's take on "Love Lockdown"
Since Kanye's let the individual loops to his single, "Love Lockdown," roam free upon the internet, everybody from Patrick Stump (Fallout Boy) to your next door neighbor has had a chance to put out their own crappy remix of Kanye's song.
Luckily, Mike Posner (Mike Posner & The Brain Trust) made sure not to join the thousands of "artists" by making a terrible version. Peep his lighthearted flip, entitled "F'ed Up Now," below...

i'm not necessarily agreeing with his sentiment that this is all a payback to the financial institutions who put greed ahead of responsible actions/investments. i did, however, call the downfall of i-banking as an industry in decline (i said this when things were great for everyone a couple of years ago). just ask my dad... i also predicted that by the time i have kids, they won't even have to attend college if they're actually smart; they should run their own business before they even get their driver's license.

MTV x HP = Digital Art Contest/Branding
mtv has paired up w/ hewlett-packard to create an original series that follows 16 contestants as they produce digital art on none other than hp systems. the nytimes calls it "the real world; with more computers."
it just so happens that while i was checking out the trailer, i catch one of my friends, allison torneros, as a contestant on the show. i remember when i first met her at school and thought her art was dope so i can only wish her luck.

if anything, sarah palin has determination...
i give credit where credit is due and when even your own father admits to never giving you much credit or thought that you could win a cross country race (let alone elections), you have some guts/competitiveness. according to her retired school teacher dad, she was never the most talented... she just outworked and outlearned everyone.
this might be the only positive asset of hers that's out there so far... still, i'll give her props for having the hustle.

this is by far my favorite song on the radio (sirius satellite) right now... besides the obama tribute, the beat is toomp at his BEST! and you can't deny jeezy's verses (nas comes thru with a not so typical nas delivery) especially when he says "....
