back from miami. time to work...
wmc/miami was ok this year. weather was great again (first since 3 years ago) but the parties are becoming pretty predictable. our jump off with junior sanchez/brobot was OFF THE CHAINS; besides everyone on the bill killin it, we had legends like fab five freddy and armand van helden hanging out with us til the end. also in the house were a-trak, catchdubs and fools gold crew among many others in attendance. we'll post the all the photos/video asap.

one huge pain in the ass though was AMERICAN AIRLINES; first they turned around because there was smoke coming out of the engine. had to wait for an hour to get back on another flight and then they lost people's luggage (including flakez' who had our keys in his bag). so basically i'm stuck at a starbucks working right now (on 3 hours of sleep). don't fly AA..... i recommend jetblue or virgin (n smaller airports).

dF only kicks it w the best (that goes without saying) so i've been keepin a close eye on this 18 yr old phenom from SD name chris young. flakez has been working with him as of late and it looks like we're gonna do bring him into the fold of some BIG shit happening this summer. we'll post a freestyle he did on weds night at the standard (by the pool) soon but in the meantime, peep this joint produced by nobody famous.

carter music group = $100 million?!
jay-z is apparently asking for $100 million if you want to work with him. if you even want his label that is... hov's a still sick rapper when he does a guest verse (not a full song by himself... def listen to 'maybach music' w him and rick ross) and is somewhat good at finding strategic partners for his business ventures; but i don't believe in an artist running a label... that's like a pimpin tryin to pimp himself as a ho. it never works quite right! lol

prince just added to coachella
personally i'm not a huge fan of prince but again, i've never seen him live.... apparently he puts on the best live show ever (and this comes from some reputable artists themselves).
might have to leave the pool party at the mansion for a couple of hours to see this.....

dipset startin the head scarf trend?!
you may have heard me rant about seeing juelz (santana) wearing a gucci scarf of mine on his head... apparently dipsets got the streets jumpin on the wagon. complex did a nice funny take on the whole trend (gotta give props when its due)

lenny dykstra is my hero
if you were like me who grew up watching/playing baseball day/night, you know who nails is. lenny dykstra aka "nails" was one of those tazmanian devil like athletes that played at only one speed; FULL speed.
while i always have affinity for individuals that are kind of nuts (work hard, play hard too), dykstra just moved up even higher on my list after i watched real sports on HBO (another fav. brand of mine) where they profiled his money makin skills.
upon losing millions thanks to his broker, nails took it upon himself to learn everything he can about investments; now he's living in wayne gretzky's mansion and has jim cramer on camera saying that lenny dykstra is one of only 4 or 5 individuals in the world he'd take investment advice from. not bad for a dude that can't say a whole sentence without droppin' f-bombs.

what's going on at the scion gallery?
so my boy canale (pat, not pj) and i paid a visit to our old buddies at the scion gallery in culver city last week. we kicked it with evan and ian for awhile and they decided to get us on camera; which resulted in us as intro/outro to the nice behind the scenes look at the new installation.

while not official just yet, most expect eliot spitzer to resign after being caught in a prostitution ring... this guy ticked off alot of folks (especially in wall street + joseph bruno for sure) and while i don't care so much about his beef w others in the state of ny, i can't understand or have pity for any man that pays for sex.

SXSW is comin soon

i hope he doesn't read my blog (i doubt he does) but i don't think there's a player in the nba that's as big of a b*tch as the mohawked only good for open 3 hittin (which is important, by the way) journeyman.
my boy alex and i have spent a drunken 4 am youtube-ing on vids of him just gettin punked left n right (yes we must've been really fucked up).
