moby is cool with me...
my dad actually pointed out this article to me tonight and it's quite interesting/entertaining. i had a chance to kick it with moby one night (two years ago maybe) after an event i had with him DJing (urb's 15 year anniversary joint in nyc); he's slightly awkward and weird around girls for sure but damn does he have a sick 3 storied penthouse suite with a panoramic view of the central park. we had some south african chicks up in that place.... my boy alex tried to steal one of the girls' purse too LOL
anyways, read nymag's story about him supposedly having something with natalie portman... not bad for a house DJ.

grammy parties
so right now we're in the midst of the grammy weekend (meaning, a lot of parties and afterparties going on). while many were going on last night (friday), my fav. of the evening was the allido records/mark ronson pre-grammy event at the roosevelt hotel.
many folks (both usual hollywood scenesters and artists) were there including nas (one of my favorite mc's of all time) but big shout out to mark ronson, rich kleiman and the allido crew. kenna for doing a couple of songs with mark live, blu jemz for playing tunes earlier (n always partying harder than the rest of the pansies out there ha j/k).
sucks that i missed timbaland's people mag party, friends n familiy at the paramount studios and benji/josh's dj set for vh1 at blvd3 but i got wayyy too drunk off belvedere and ended up at two too many afterparties. we're only half way to the grammy night and then magic in vegas.... let's goooo.

microsoft vs google.... who's the lesser "evil" of the two?!
as many of you are aware by now (and if you're not, you don't deserve to come to our site), microsoft has put up a $44.6 billion bid to take over the struggling yahoo folks. while yahoo continues to lose its market share (google being the tiger woods of the search engines), microsoft's been looking for ways to move into the neighborhood.
well, microsoft's always had its share of criticism for its intention to monopolize and with this pending deal, google's been crying for the government to intervene.
