banana split 1 year anniversary

10.26.07 - LA
i usually catch up on sleep during weekends but a lot was happening this past friday so i actually went out and did alot. started off the night at the clippers game with ian... we got there at half time but had dope seats so all good. after the game, we went over to 944/hudson party at elevate (we'll post the video soon). shout out to kelly/nikki at 944, vice who kililed it on the decks and rickey kim n co... after mixing champagne with belvedere, we drunk drove over to the LRG jump that my boy kev put together. some more boozing (see pics below) and all that good stuff. again, more incriminating photos/video for a later time but enjoy a few for now.

fools gold cmj showcase at hiro ballroom
all the homies were in the house as a-trak n catchdub hosted the fools gold showcase the night after ours... cool kids, kid sister, mehdi, catchdubs, a-trak, ...etc.
big shout out to ray from mighty healthy, miss info (peep her blog on missinfo.tv!), ron/leroy jenkins and many others that kicked it with us on and back stage. we def had that downstairs area busy n busy :) some stuff we can't show on camera or online so for now, enjoy what we do have haha

american gangster premiere last friday...
big ups to the homie scott who hooked us up... instead of taking a date, i kept it real n brought matt aka flakez to the screening + afterparty. your interns are lifting boxes for ramen noodles while my dude's flying to vegas and new york eatin steaks for breakfast! (we may have been the only two without a tuxedo or a dress but we don't give a)

weds night in nyc/cmj
fools gold showcase popped off at hiro... shout out to a-trak, cool kids, kid sister, mehdi and others! shit was packed and we had some fun down in the "backstage" + staff bathrooms (what happens in the basement staaaaays in the mf)
dF n the kids then went over to roxy's weekly at room service where the homies jus ske and gomez warren (LA what?!) were droppin bombs all night. definitely good to see some gold diggers up in the spot at 3 am on a weds night too :)

LA fashion week jump off
although i have to catch a flight in a few hours (7am departure to NYC), i decided to stop by the 944 LA fashion week launch party at blvd 3. we had to show support for my girls kelly and nikki over at 944 as they put together a dope runway show + vip/free booze for us. complex' covergirl kim kardashian was one of the models and honestly, i had a good time before we went over to les deux for tammy, jerry and nick's one off.
peep the photos for all the model shots... myself and matt (dF's newest member... i'm flying out my 21 year old UCLA student / assistant out to NYC you suckers. get your game right sonnnn!!!). anyways, big thanks to kelly and nikky for showing us love.. my girl and i had a good buzz/time!

illinois football is in the top 20 this week...
my alma mater is arguably the BEST team in the big ten this year. if we hadn't fumbled so much in the first game, we'd be undefeated and in the top 10 but i can't complain about the 3-0 start in big ten play (already beat penn state and wisconsin).
for a good read on the coach (ron zook) and how he took our shitty football team and made it an elite squad.
