KG is officially a boston celtic...

billed as the largest trade in nba history for a single player, kevin garnett aka the big ticket is finally leaving minnesota to join the boston celtics.
while i'm not nor have i ever been a celtics fan (i was rooting for the lakers in the 80's), i think this is a great move for both kg and the nba. i used to watch this dude BALL during his senior year of h.s. at farragut in chicago and i couldn't be happier for a hardworking guy who deserves a supporting cast (which includes paul pierce and ray allen). it's also good for my favorite league because a. brings some firepower to an eastern conference team and b. an east coast city needs a little excitement (which this clearly provides).

anyways, i predict a cleveland vs boston eastern conf. finals next year.
