BABU takes the throne at red bull big tune
while evidence was the guest host/performer for the jump off, i wasn't aware that babu was gonna be part of the event. well he wasn't on the bill but he threw his name in the battle just like the rest of the folks and he came out on top as the winner of red bull big tune la.
crowd was hype and got to hear a lot of good shit through out my grey goose x veggie trays ha

who's the best writer alive??
if lil wayne is the best rapper alive, my boy brandon perkins might very well be the best writer alive. while most journalists write articles and maybe a story, brandon writes a flick... he took a risk goin with his doctor/psychologist vs patient theme on this lil weezy piece last year and it was recognized as one of de capo's best music writing of 2007.
i was actually fortunate enough to wait on weezy at the currency video shoot with brandon (got some video of him drinkin n smokin for 4 hours straight in the middle of the day + his money stacks n weed carrier standing 2 feet away from me). hopefully URB will release the footage soon!
anyways, big ups to brandon/urb for the recognition. again if weezy f baby is the best rapper alive, i'm goin with skinny b as the best writer alive.

why bruce bowen and the spurs are ruining the NBA
the last thing i (or anyone with a brain) want is the finals between the san antonio spurs and the detroit pistons... who the fuck wants to see a 82-79 games with boring ass half court sets and floppin fools?!
the spurs are the MOST BORING team in the history of sports led by mr robot tim duncan aka i have no personality. i don't care how good his numbers are. he actually makes a basketball game look like a chess match between two snails.
as for manu "i flop more than vlade divacs' ginobili, his game is as awkwardly lame as his broke ass cross over moves. how the fuck do you goto bed at night knowing that you're a punk!?
last but not least, how the fuck is bruce bowen still in the league??? he's repeatedly tried to injure the other team's top players over the years. the only shot he can make is from the corner and even that, he chokes when he really has to make it... the play where he purposedly kicked amare stoudemire in the achilles?! i mean what the fuck?! you're gonna fine stephen jackson for clapping but you let this potato head lookin motherfucker keep playin dirty?!

i had been tied up with travels and unable to attend or DJ at shag for a couple of weeks but last friday was actually really fun. aside from a packed house and some decent looking girls (decent is the new hot), we had a girl fight that ended up with blood on the dancefloor (that's gangster) and the homie brandon celebratin his bday weekend.

fighting illini reppin hard in the playoffs...
the homies from u of i (that's university of illinois to you coasters) weathered the storm from the bay and put the smack down on the warriors last night. i'm not really rooting for the jazz or anything but i'm definitely on deron williams n dee brown.
deron 'i'm better than chris paul' williams and dee 'still a one man fastbreak' brown played clutch lastnight and took the first game!
even bruce weber (the illini coach, not the photographer) was in the stands watchin the fun ass game.
