MIAMI / WMC 2007 wrap up...
aight so a lot of things went on over the past week or so and there's no way i can list every event and experience during wmc/miami. but i'll highlight some things, include some photos and continue to add content/footage as i receive 'em from some friends and clients.
some of the highlights....
- the music lounge we produced with bmf media (big thanks to all of our sponsors including helio, sirius satellite, urb magazine, armani exchange, red bull, cafeteria, dos equis, 944, myspace, ... etc)
- craze's bass sessions (klever - atrak- ztrip - craze - scratch perverts)
- world of drum n bass (shy fx and goldie killed it!)
- om party (brand new venue downtown... big ups to jonathan n crew at om)
- ultra (only when craze + kela did their thing)
- sagamore event with travis barker + dj am + paul wall + killa kela SHUT IT DOWN

pinkberry
ok so i finally tried pinkberry the other day and i am officially hooked. i have since gone 3 days straight to the location on sawtelle. i get the regular with strawberries, kiwis and granola... you can never go wrong with all the toppings + it tastes fresh as hell.
also check out their site... pretty damn korean but nicely done.

my first nascar event...
thanks to red bull, i got to experience nascar for the first time in my life. red bull hooked up the all expense paid trip to vegas for the weekend and here are some footage from the madness. fortunately, i wasn't the only nascar virgin so i got to chill with some other folks who were like wtf?! jokes aside, red bull built one of the sickest hospitality suites on-site (2 stories, food n drinks served all day and mir painting downstairs).
plus it's always good to end a weekend at body english with the homie vice... we'll get you that patron deal soon!
and last but not least, big thanks to kelly n the rest at red bull for hosting me. i looooove redbull...

if you thought VIP is only for club shit, guess again... these trailers were parked inside the track (rest of the regular folks had to leave their shit outside!)

and you thought nascar is some racist shit... like dubFrequency, nascar supports interracial couples!

first game... we won
i'm still waiting to see if jupiter can lend us the photos from the game (nike owns 'em) so as soon as i get my hands on any, i'll post. the good news is that we won our first game of the season. we played BLENDS and while we had a lead for most of the game, it was a close one for sure and we won by 3 points i think. we were up 4 with 30 sec left but one of their guys hit a 3 to cut it to one point and then i finally hit a jumpshot at the end to make it a 3 point game....
big ups to matt, ben, paul, brandon, steven and jeff (was in uniform anyway). we're 1-0 baby!
next week we're playing arsen's fairfax squad.

@ the POINT
as you saw/read about it a couple of weeks ago, nike opened a brand new event space/showroom of sort in hollywood to celebrate the 25 year anniversary of AF1's... i even previewed the sick indoor basketball court they had hidden in the back. to make things even sweeter, nike's running a 8-week league + playoffs and i'll be on the URB squad. time to dust off my kicks and skills.... we'll keep you updated with photos/videos of some highlights. shit's about to go down every monday!

this is what we're doing in MIAMI for WMC
we're taking over THE CAFETERIA for 3 days (weds/thurs/fri) during wmc.... details to follow but peep the photos. we'll be ushering vips through the priviate entrance/elevator straight to the roof!
private dinners, free food/drinks, gifting suites, media stations, after parties, pre parties, ... you get the picture.
