Come see the PLUG 2007 Independent Music Awards Feb 10 in NYC @ Irving Plaza. Performers will be Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks, Silversun Pickups, El-P, Deerhoof & Tokyo Police Club and comedian, David Cross will host the event.
Unlike traditional award shows, each artist will perform 20-40 minute mini-sets on stage.

In the meantime, PLUG has been busy lately teaming up with PLUG voters & promoters in cities all over North America to showcase local artists and to celebrate local music scenes that are as vibrant and realized as anything the media obsesses over on the coasts (although we’re going there too!).
